Types of Aid

The Office of Financial Aid Services at 91¿´Æ¬ carefully reviews each student’s financial aid application and financial circumstances in order to prepare a personalized Financial Aid Offer.

Below are various types of financial aid resources available to students:

Scholarships & Grants

91¿´Æ¬ awards a variety of scholarships and grants to undergraduate students based on merit or financial need demonstrated on their annual FAFSA.

Student Loans

Student loans are a form of self-help aid that students can use to bridge the gap between the Cost of Attendance and the gift-aid that they have been offered.

Student Employment Program (Work-Study)

All students are welcome (and encouraged) to participate in Moravian’s Student Employment Program by getting a job on campus.

Mo’s Fund

Mo’s Fund aims to provide one-time financial support to 91¿´Æ¬ students who are experiencing financial hardship.

Yellow Ribbon Program

91¿´Æ¬ is proud to be a partner institution with the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Scholarships from Outside Sources

Gift aid (grants and scholarships, or "free money") from outside (an external provider) sources can be a great way to help pay for your education. 

Summer Aid

Yes — financial aid is available for the summer!

Graduate and adult accelerated students should already see their summer financial aid awards in AMOS.

Traditional full-time undergraduate students may be eligible for several types of summer financial aid:

  • Federal Pell Grant: If you're eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, you may also qualify for additional Pell funding for summer classes. Make sure you’ve completed both the 2024–25 and 2025–26 FAFSAs to maximize your eligibility.
  • Federal Direct Loans: If you haven’t used your full Federal Direct Loan eligibility during the 2024–25 academic year, you may be able to use the remaining amount for summer, as long as you are enrolled at least half-time.
  • Parent PLUS Loans: If you’re enrolled at least half-time, your parent can apply for a Parent PLUS Loan online at to help cover your summer costs.
  • Private/Alternative Loans: Looking for other borrowing options? You can explore private loan opportunities at .
