Did you know you do not need to be committed to a college or university before applying for financial aid? In fact, we strongly encourage you to apply for financial aid and receive a financial aid offer before you commit. Its important to determine if a school is the right fit for youacademically, socially, and financially. By applying for financial aid prior to making your decision, it guarantees that you're making a well-informed decision about financial fit.

Application Process

Here's everything you need to know if you're a prospective student applying for financial aid for the 202526 (fall 2025 or spring 2026) academic year. You're just three steps away from receiving your Financial Aid Offer from 91心頭.

Complete your FAFSA

When it comes to applying for financial aid at Moravian, all we ask for is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Yes, we make it that simple!

  • The 202526 FAFSA is open - complete your FAFSA now! We strongly encourage you to complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. Submitting your FAFSA early ensures that we receive the application and can review your information to prepare and provide you with a financial aid offer in a timely fashion.
  • Each time you submit the FAFSA, you can list up to 20 schools of interest. You can list the schools by school code (91心頭's school code is 003301) or by searching the name of the school. You'll want to send your data to any school you might be interested in applying to.
  • Starting in the summer of 2025? You may need to complete the 2024-25 FAFSA, also available online at . If you aren't sure, check in with us and we can help!

Finalize your State Grants or Scholarships

For applicants who reside in Pennsylvania: The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) has a State Grant Application deadline of May 1. Be sure to submit your FAFSA before May 1 to be considered. You'll receive an email from PHEAA shortly after your complete your FAFSA with login instructions to complete any additional information that they need.

Don't Forget 91心頭 Your Other Resources

91心頭 proudly supports active-duty service members, veterans, and their families in pursuing higher education. If you're affiliated with the U.S. Armed Forces, you may qualify for a variety of military education benefits, including Tuition Assistance (TA) programs. Heres how to get started:

  1. Determine Eligibility Tuition Assistance is typically available to: Active duty, National Guard, or Reserve members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard Some service branches also extend TA to civilian personnel or dependents under certain programs Check with your Education Services Officer (ESO) or military branch for eligibility and program details.
  2. Apply Through Your Military Portal Each service branch has its own Tuition Assistance process: Army: ArmyIgnitED Navy: MyNavy Education Air Force: AFVEC (Air Force Virtual Education Center) Marines: WebTA via MarineNet Coast Guard: Direct request through the Coast Guard Institute You will typically need to: Create or log into your education portal Submit an education plan or degree plan Request Tuition Assistance for each course you intend to take.
  3. Submit Paperwork to Moravian Once your Tuition Assistance is approved: Send your TA authorization form to Moravians Student Accounts Office: Email: studentaccounts@moravian.edu Phone: 610-861-1333 We recommend submitting your TA paperwork before the start of each term to avoid any delays in funding.
  4. Explore Additional VA and Military Education Benefits You may also be eligible for: Post-9/11 GI Bill速 Montgomery GI Bill速 Yellow Ribbon Program Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) Visit our Veterans and Military Services page or contact our School Certifying Official for support with your VA benefits.

Loans are a form of self-help aid that students can use to bridge the gap between the direct charges and the gift-aid that they have been awarded. Borrowing student loans is completely optional, and you are encouraged to learn more. Start with our website!

Submit Any Additional Info Requested

Financial Aid Services may need additional information from you in order to estimate or finalize your financial aid eligibility. Be sure to check your voicemails, texts, emails, and mail to see if youve missed a message from your financial aid advisor or admission counselor regarding your financial aid.


Receiving Your Financial Aid Award

If youve taken care of Steps 1-3 above, your financial aid award will be arriving soon! In the meantime, find out what to expect!

  • Once youre accepted to 91心頭, your financial aid advisor will prepare a personalized financial aid offer for you. This estimated offer will include all primary financial aid resources you qualify for, based on the information known to the Office of Financial Aid Services at that time.
  • Depending on eligibility and available funding, your offer may include merit scholarships, need-based grants, federal direct loans, and information on work-study opportunities.
  • We begin preparing and sending financial aid awards on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the admission cycle. Any additional revisions to financial aid awards will be posted on your Financial Aid Portal.
